What is Sip & Wag?
Sip & Wag is a fast-dissolving daily supplement powder for dogs, made in Australia. Our launch formula Hydration and Gut Support, combines electrolytes, prebiotics, probiotics, and gut-lining support in a single 5g scoop that dissolves in just 50ml of water.
How is Sip & Wag different from other dog supplements?
Most dog supplements are food toppers or chews. Sip & Wag dissolves in water just 50ml, so there's no bowl waste and no mixing into food. It's also the only Australian supplement that combines electrolytes, a 2,000mg prebiotic dose, and live probiotics in a single daily serve. No other brand offers this combination.
What's actually in it?
Electrolytes: Sodium chloride (sea salt), Potassium chloride, Dextrose
Gut Support: Inulin (chicory root) 2,000mg, L-Glutamine 500mg
Probiotics: Bacillus coagulans 1.5 billion CFU, Lactobacillus acidophilus 1 billion CFU
Vitamins: Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin), Folate (B9), Thiamine (B1)
Minerals: Magnesium citrate
Palatability: Hydrolysed beef liver 250mg

Is it safe for my dog?
Yes. Sip & Wag is formulated specifically for dogs with carefully considered ingredient doses. Every ingredient is included at levels appropriate for daily canine use. If your dog has a known health condition, is on medication, or you have any concerns, we always recommend checking with your vet before introducing any new supplement.
Is it made in Australia?
Yes. Sip & Wag is proudly made in Australia by a specialist animal health manufacturer. All ingredients are selected to meet Australian quality standards.
What flavour is it?
Sip & Wag Hydration & Gut Support is beef flavoured, using hydrolysed beef liver for natural palatability. Most dogs take to it immediately even fussy ones.
How do I give it to my dog?
Add one scoop (5g) to 50ml of fresh water and stir until dissolved. Offer it to your dog as a small daily drink alongside their normal water bowl. Most dogs drink it straight away.
Alternatively, you can mix the dissolved liquid into their food if they prefer.
How much do I give based on my dog's size?
One scoop (5g) per day is the standard serve for all adult dogs. For very small dogs under 5kg, half a scoop is sufficient. For large or very active dogs, one scoop remains the recommended daily dose.

When is the best time to give it?
Any time of day works and the most important thing is consistency. Many dog owners find it easiest to give it in the morning as part of their regular feeding routine. It's also particularly useful after exercise, in hot weather, during travel, or any time your dog's routine is disrupted.
Can I dissolve it in a full water bowl instead of 50ml?
You can, but we recommend 50ml for a reason . It ensures your dog consumes the full dose rather than drinking part of a larger bowl. The 50ml serve is a small, shot-sized amount most dogs finish completely.
Can I freeze it to make pupsicles?
Yes! This is one of our favourite ways to use it, especially in summer. Dissolve one scoop in 50ml of water and pour into a silicone mould. Freeze and serve as a cooling treat. The electrolytes and prebiotics remain effective when frozen.
Can puppies use Sip & Wag?
Sip & Wag is formulated for adult dogs. For puppies under 12 months, we recommend consulting your vet before use.
Can I give it to my senior dog?
Absolutely. Senior dogs often benefit most from daily hydration and gut support, particularly dogs with joint issues, reduced mobility, or those on long-term medications. If your senior dog has any health conditions, check with your vet first.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! Free shipping on all Australian orders, always. No minimum spend required.
How long does delivery take?
We fulfil all orders from Sydney, Australia. Standard delivery times are:
- Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane: 2-4 business days
- Adelaide/Perth/regional: 4-7 business days
You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet and we're currently shipping within Australia only. International shipping is something we're working toward. Join our waitlist to be notified when it becomes available.
What if my order arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, email us at hello@sipandwag.com.au with a photo and your order number. We'll send a replacement straight away.
Who is Ziggy?
Ziggy is our Groodle and the reason Sip & Wag exists. Before his fourth birthday he survived parvovirus, underwent a total hip replacement, and had two ACL surgeries. He lives with arthritis and noise anxiety every day.

Are more products coming?
Yes. Sip & Wag Calm + Relaxation Support (purple) is in development and launching in early 2027 — combining L-theanine, ashwagandha, and magnesium for dogs who carry stress or noise anxiety.
Sip & Wag Move + Joint Support (green) follows after that — featuring UC-II® undenatured collagen and Boswellia serrata. Australia's first water-dissolvable joint supplement.
